In L'Africain, we are faced with this unique cover of Sting "Englishman in New York." Tiken has entitled "Africain à Paris."
Africa's future sees Tiken Jah Fakoly on young people, so since 2009 is engaged in an education campaign, "a concert, a school." Through their concerts revenue performance and other artists want to build schools in all African peoples to make education for all children, this is the best way to end discrimination and provide opportunities for all. Thanks to this campaign and several schools have risen and will continue because, Tiken says, "Education is the light" and at the same time the most intelligent revolution. That, of revolution, spoke his latest album, African Revolution, which was published on 27 September this year. Here is his first single, "Je dis Non!" (I say no).

Mr Roux, or whatever it is, Monsieur Roux is the name of a French group created by Erwan Roux in 2004. Erwan comes from Rennes, Ille et Vilaine. Before devoting himself to music and exercising social educator in his spare time he indulged his two passions, music and travel. On one such trip by the Indian Ocean and Madagascar met a musician, also from Rennes, who invited him to play as the opening act at concerts. Erwan accepted the challenge and turn joined with two other musicians, Kevin Gravier, alias Brandon Michel (bass and bass) and Bertrand Thepaut, alias Jaunie Bernard (guitar, banjo and harmonica) and formed this group that for a time was a trio and finally be completed with drummer Matthieu Lesiard, alias Norman Beatman.
Ewan, who plays guitar, keyboards and ukulele, began writing texts for songs in adolescence, then there was like ten years without writing anything, and after this period to be taken seriously again. His lyrics are scathing humor and sometimes even hurtful, that part of himself at all is a part autobiographical, dealing with social, religious and political, prostitution, alienation and marginalization. In general, says Erwan, people prefer the street, it feels closer to the awkward and maladjusted. Find these characters more appealing to his compositions that others more formal and orderly. He attracts the crazy side of people and has compassion for the marginalized.
As for the music, recognizing influences on the French chanson, but also rock, pop, English music and song choice. Among its most popular artists are: Tom Waits , The Clash , MAP, Bruce Springsteen or Abd Al Malik. I often compared to Georges Brassens but he says he feels closer to or Renaud Maxime Le Forestier , given that Brassens not even know him.
The first actions of Mr Roux took place in cafes and bistros of Brittany. They say that western part of France is very rich in such premises dedicated to music and small festivals, they all act the group and, through them, got word of mouth worked and began to be known. In 2005 their first album is self, Oh yes j'étais grand et beau ... (Oh if I was tall and handsome), which has limited distribution to the region in which their performances take place. In 2006 participating in Francofolies in 2007 are awarded by the FAIR (Fund Rock Action and Initiative). That same year, file with the label Atmosphérique and his album is again reissued, this time with national distribution, enabling them to be known throughout the country. In addition, its first single is widespread in all radio that summer and "Petit rasta (Small rasta), is how the song is called, is chosen as the best song by the students of 250 colleges and institutes French award bearing the seal of the Academy Charles Cros . The second position is for "Gibraltar" Abd Al Malik . The following animated video you can hear this theme of Mr Roux and finally, I show another and translate the lyrics.
In 2008 the trio becomes a quartet and tours, not only for France, Quebec, Belgium and Switzerland can also enjoy their live. After the tour, and more than 300 shows behind them in November are enclosed in a Brussels studio and begin recording their second album, A caniculaire été (A Summer heatwave), under the command of Bruno Green , producing and mixing the album. The album consists of 13 songs marked by his characteristic black humor. Erwan, however, is not considered pessimistic, believe in man's ability to continually create and everything that mankind has to beautiful. Nor do they consider any past was better, as could be gathered by one of his titles, "C'était mieux avant" (It was better before), in contrast, says that society is improving, so the best is yet to come . Mr Roux nevertheless remains true in these new songs, one of the elements that characterize his writings: the irony. Since that distills the song that opens the album, "Le vote utile" (useful Voting), which says things how are you: "I was told you can not always do what you want ... eat what I give no rebel, I will review all my ideals and dreams useful useless and vote. "The following video of a fan you can hear the song live.
Mr Roux in the spring were acting in Quebec and now continue their tour along hexagonal geography.'ll leave you with another video animated "Petit Rasta", the song of which we spoke earlier, belonging to his first album, Oh yeah j'étais grand et beau ... (Oh yeah I was tall and handsome). A song that makes fun of these young people full of great ideals, apparently, but do nothing to carry them out, more concerned forms than in substance.

L'Oncle Ben Soul, whose real name is Benjamin Duterde, was born in Tours in 1984. At first stage name was Oncle Ben but had to exchange it for a rights issue with the American rice brand Uncle Ben's . His penchant for soul and black music is not surprising since it takes listening to her since before birth, because his mother was passionate about that kind of music. Ben was rocked with Otis Redding or Sam Cooke . He took his first bottle and porridge with Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin , Marvin Gaye and other Motown artists on the label , who lived in her mother's nightclub. And so much fervor that comes Benjamin is this sound that was tattooed on his left wrist that word "Motown"
Ben studied Fine Arts and in 2004 began his musical career within a gospel group called Fitiavana . Then also acts as the opening act for Musiq Soulchild , Raphael Saadiq or India Arie. Benjamin is also a great lover of hip-hop and has collaborated with Oxmo Puccino, Hocus Pocus or Assaillant Beat, among others, accompanying them on stage in some cases, and writing some letters, in others.
In 2008 Motown division in France is interested in him. Have you seen the version that Ben made of "Seven Nation Army" White Stripes and want to sign him. In 2009 it published a first maxi-single that included that version.
maxi is titled The Soul Wash and consists of six tracks that recreate as many songs from the 90 and 2000 but interpreted as within 60. Songs like "Barbie Girl" Aqua , "Say You'll Be There" by the Spice Girls or this "Sympathique" group Pink Martini .
The May 17, 2010 goes on sale the first album by Ben L'Oncle Soul, titled the same, L'Oncle Ben Soul, and is composed by 14 tracks, sung in English and French and recreating the era of the 50, 60 and 70, although most are written in the first decade of the 21. The song most representative of this first album L'Oncle Ben Soul is that you can listen to and whose translation can then follow below. It is entitled "Soulman."

L'Oncle Ben Soul - "Soulman" Extrait de l'album Éponyme (2010)
I have not the eyes of Spike Lee I have not the genius of De Vinci I have no feet on earth, nor patience of my banker. No, I have those things.
I have not the wisdom of Gandhi, or the safety of Mohammed Ali. I have not the soul of a gangster, or the goodness of Abbé Pierre, or the aura de Guevara.
Just a Soulman Listen to this, Baby I'm no Superman, far away
Just me, my delusions, I have nothing more to offer Although I know that's something.
I have no physical magazines, I have not the humor of Charlie Chaplin I have no science or art infused Bocuse. No, I have those things.
I have no chance of Neil Armstrong I have not the size of King Kong or hundreds of resources, nor the fervor of Rosa Parks and value of Mandela.

[au Refrain] (x 2)
just me, my delusions, Although I know that's something.
What started in stamp collecting? - Part 3 World Scout Jamboree XIX
Let me warn you about
be very ambitious to get started in stamp collecting. You have to be happy with an initial package of one or two thousand different stamps. A little history will explain better my point of view. A friend asked me to get him a package for beginners to his younger brother, who was 14 years and wanted to know how much it would cost. About 30 soles (5 dollars), I said. He was surprised when I said that, I wonder why so little, why could not buy her brother a little better, a great album, and instead of thousand stamps, many more. I tried to convince him otherwise but I could not do so in the end, my friend bought a large stamp album and a huge amount of stamps. My friend believed that he was giving away something good with which started in stamp collecting. His brother, of course, was more than happy with this gift. My friend and his brother sat down and took all the stamps.
There was his project, with hours of entertainment ordering stamps. However, there had to take a long time to get things started to go not so well. The huge amount of stamps began to pose a problem. The younger brother was beginning to feel disappointed, and my friend was feeling desperate. Finally he sought for some excuse to leave and go do something else. The days passed and stopped to finish stamps stored in a box.
On the other hand, another friend, a little wiser, went to a collector with experience for advice. He wanted to start in philately as well. The collector, gave him a book containing valuable information about stamp collecting, information like that now you are reading. After a few days back and requested one of these packages for beginners, with which he retired to his home and applied the knowledge acquired. A few weeks later, my friend looked very confident, "I read the book and I organized a thousand stamps," she told me. Now I feel I can go one step further, I'll buy one of those best album and start a serious collection. That way, I'm sure will become a great collector. Thanks to philately started in an appropriate manner could enjoy this training.
As shown in the picture, with this endorsement, he sought to highlight the event Jamboree XIX Scout World, the last of the twentieth century. The total value of both seals is 10.00 soles (about $ 3.60), and were issued on January 5, 1999 by the Postal Service of Peru.
The A ssociation of Guides and Scouts of Chile was responsible for organizing the World Scout Jamboree XIX event of World Scouting Organization , which was held on December 27, 1998 to January 6, 1999, in Picarquín Chile, had as its motto the phrase: "to build peace together."
The thematic philately scout has always interested me, as I will lead a time of my life, although as I said, "Once a Scout always scout, so rather, I'm scout. I have several stamps of this issue, which I will be posting little by little, and my new acquisitions on this very interesting topic.
I have little information on the stamp I'm showing is the purchase a gentleman of advanced age some years ago in the mail from my city. I can understand the image of France is referred to a World Jamboree. Another theory is that the World Jamboree was held in France and that the stamp is in some Arab country (I say this because the markings are only hieroglyphics to me). What do you think?
"Varna, the entertainment center in Bulgaria, is located along the Black Sea , located between the sea and hills has an important seaport and beaches appear bounded for miles extensive gardens. " (Source)
" The charm of Varna, also known as the" Pearl of the Black Sea ", lies in its location next to the sea In his magnificent sea and lush garden. Odessa Named by the Greeks, was always an attraction. In the twentieth century it became fashionable as a summer resort, at that time retains a somewhat melancholy and eclectic architecture characterized by buildings in pastel colors. The third-largest city is also a meeting point where artists and intellectuals come together when it good weather. " (Source)
It appears from the comments I've read and the references in tourist sites, Varna is a city we should know, of course, if you can give us that pleasure.
What started in stamp collecting? - Part 2 Mr. Ricardo Cillóniz Oberti
The first step is to visit a dealer stamp, or any place that sells stamps, and purchase a package for beginners. Some sites sell this package ready to buy, otherwise it can be easily prepared, a good package for beginners should contain the following:
· ; A stamp album
· adhesive paper stamps
· A package of one or two thousand different stamps
· Tweezers
· Optionally, a catalog of stamps is a good idea.
At the beginning I can imagine that are collected stamps from a country or a particular topic, so it's not a good idea to buy a package of stamps from different countries and themes. The issue is that you can not collect stamps, especially if a topic before you do not have general knowledge of philately. For this, you must acquire the basic knowledge to be able to enjoy this exciting hobby.
Now, a package like the one I mentioned should not cost much. In fact, you can get some for very little money, or other for much longer. For a beginner I suggest a package containing a good album with a package containing not more than a thousand or two thousand stamps. Having identified each stamp and put in their place you have completed your basic training. From here you can be sure that these acquire relevant knowledge about philately, and you're ready to enjoy all the pleasures that this hobby provides all collectors.
Both stamps were issued on October 23, 1999, with a value of 1.00 Nuevo Sol each ($ 0.35 approx.) Had the purpose of honoring the peace agreement signed between Peru and Ecuador on October 26, 1998.
Peru and Ecuador, since its independence in the nineteenth century until 1998, had a territorial dispute, which constituted the longest conflict in the Western Hemisphere. He is considered a conflict because there was never a declaration of war between the two countries.
